Test in a copy of your theme

Turn on Custy where customers can't see it yet.

  1. Step 1: In Shopify, go to Online Store → Themes. On your theme, click … → Duplicate.
  2. Step 2: On the copy, click Customize. Turn on Custy cart editor in App embeds. Save.

  3. Step 3: Add the Custy Customize Button block to the product page. Save.

  4. Step 4: Use Preview to see it. Your live store still uses your old app.

Customers don't see the copy until you publish it. You can also test with a hidden product or a password-protected store.
