What is Custy?
A Shopify app that lets shoppers design shirts, hats, and more on your store. You get print-ready files for each order. Shopify still handles the cart, payment, shipping, and tax.
Do customers leave my store to design?
No. The design screen opens on your product page.
Will it slow down my store?
No. It only loads on product pages that use it.
Do I need technical skills?
No. Follow Get set up. Everything is clicks, no code.
How am I billed?
Through Shopify. No setup fee and no commission on sales. Cancel any time.
I cancelled my plan by mistake.
Open Plans and click Revert cancellation before your paid time ends.
My plan says Paused or Pending approval.
Pending: wait for Shopify to confirm the charge. Paused: a payment failed. Try again from Plans.
Who prints and ships?
You or your print partner. If you use Cheapest Print On Demand (CPOD), they print and ship based on your CPOD setup.
Can I move from Inkybay or another app?
Yes, from Inkybay or any other customizer. Your products stay in Shopify. You set up sizes, colors, print areas, and prices again in Custy. Follow Switch from another app.
What pictures can customers upload?
JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, or WebP, up to 20 MB. They can crop it and remove the background.
Can customers save a design?
Yes. They save it with their email and get a link to come back later. You can see saved designs under Orders in Custy.
Shopify asks me to approve permissions again. Is that OK?
Yes. Approve them. Custy needs them to sync your products. Saying no can break the app.
