Recovery & Rollback
Most problems are theme or product-setup issues, not a broken Shopify store. Stay calm, isolate what failed, and use the steps below.
First five minutes
Work in this order:
- Note what failed (button missing, Design Lab error, wrong price, missing files)
- Confirm you are looking at the live theme shoppers see
- Try one known-good pilot product URL in a private browser window
- Check Custy is still installed and the plan or trial is active
Soft fixes (try these before uninstalling anything)
- 1Re-check theme app embed and product-page blocks for Custy
- 2Re-save print areas and pricing on the failing product
- 3Sync the product again from Shopify into Custy
- 4Clear a stuck browser cache or try another device
Rollback options
Rollback means shoppers use the previous customizer path again while you fix Custy. Your Shopify products and past orders stay safe.
- Publish or switch back to the previous theme version if you duplicated themes
- Turn off Custy app embed / blocks on the live theme
- Turn the old customizer buttons or blocks back on if you still have that app
- Tell your team which path shoppers should use during the rollback
If orders already came in
Fulfill orders you already received using the files and process you have. Fix the storefront for new shoppers separately. See Orders and Print Files if artwork is missing.
